Do you accept insurance?
Most insurances do not cover acupuncture yet. If yours does we are happy to give you a superbill with all the information you need to collect reimbursement from your insurance.
Does acupuncture hurt?
You'll be happy to know that acupuncture needles are so thin, that people often report not feeling them go in at all. A dull ache around the insertion site, a slight tingling sensation, or a feeling of warmth are the most common descriptions of the sensations experienced by most acupuncture patients. These are all good signs that the body is responding to the treatment as it should.
How does acupuncture work?
By stimulating a nerve that sends a signal to the brain to release endorphins, stimulate hormones and block pain. Studies even show a release of stem cells in the blood!
